About the Director
Dr. Randy (Wenjun) Lin, PhD, P.Eng.
Dr. Randy (Wenjun) Lin is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Algoma University with over six years of industry experience as a designer and developer. His research focuses on human-centered AI systems that improve healthcare resilience, accessibility, and inclusive education, with an emphasis on building technologies that address real-world social challenges.
Dr. Lin has collaborated with leading healthcare, accessibility, and academic partners across Canada to ensure his innovations have practical impact. He is also a dedicated mentor, guiding students on projects ranging from medical data simulation to adaptive web interfaces. His trainees have published at top venues such as KDD, Canadian AI, COMPSAC, and HEALTHCOM.
